European transmission system operators appoint Swissgrid CEO.
The representatives of the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) have elected Swissgrid CEO Yves Zumwald to the Board. The ENTSO-E Board has twelve members and is chosen by the organisation’s Assembly.
As a Board member, in the next two years Yves Zumwald will be even more deeply involved in shaping established relationships with partners across Europe and will contribute significantly to Switzerland’s technical integration within the European power market. Close collaboration among European transmission system operators is essential in tackling the fundamental challenges of the energy transition. This will have benefits for Switzerland as well.
