All the proposals by the Board of Directors were approved at today’s Annual General Assembly of Swissgrid Ltd. A dividend of around CHF 48.2 million will be distributed for the 2022 financial year. The amendments to the articles of incorporation were approved, but still require the consent of the Federal Council.
The General Assembly of Swissgrid Ltd held today in Aarau approved the 2022 financial statements, resolved the distribution of a dividend of around CHF 48.2 million for the 2022 financial year, and formally endorsed the actions of the Board of Directors and Executive Board. The General Assembly confirmed that all previous members of the Board of Directors would remain in office for a further term of one year each. KPMG AG, the external auditors, were also elected for another year. In addition, the General Assembly approved the amendments to the articles of incorporation, which in particular include modifications to bring them into line with the new company law that came into force on 1 January 2023. According to Art. 19 Para. 1 of the Electricity Supply Act (StromVG; SR 734.7), these amendments must still be approved by the Federal Council.
The next General Assembly will take place on Wednesday, 15 May 2024.
